    Short Autobiography
      Dr. Jian-Jia Chen received the B.S. degree in Department of Chemistry from National Taiwan University in Taiwan in 2001. In 2001 fall, he joined the Real-time and Embedded System Lab, as known as Wireless Networking and Embedded Systems Lab since 2004, at Dept. Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taiwan University. He started his Ph.D career in National Taiwan University in 2002 fall under the supervision of Professor Tei-Wei Kuo. He obtained his Ph.D degree in June 2006 with Ph.D Dissertation "Energy-Efficient Scheduling for Real-Time Tasks in Uniprocessor and Homogeneous Multiprocessor Systems." In the late of 2006, he joined Fisheries Agency, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, Taiwan as a serviceman for his compulsory service. Since 2008, he has been a postdoc researcher at Computer Engineering and Networks Laboratory (TIK) Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, Switzerland. His research interests include real-time systems, energy-efficient scheduling, power-aware designs, embedded systems, temperature-aware scheduling, distributed computing, and algorithmic analysis.
